In the cup competitions Rangers were successful. The Scottish Cup was won thanks to a 3-0 win over East Fife with goals from Willie Findlay and a brace from Willie Thornton. The club exited the League Cup at the semi-final stage to East Fife. Rangers Football Club are an association football team based in Glasgow, Scotland, who currently play in the Scottish Premier League. The club are nicknamed the Gers, Teddy Bears (from the rhyming slang for the same) and the Light Blues, and the fans are known to each other as bluenoses.
