Developed by Daedalic Entertainment and published on the 27th of January 2012 in Germany for PC and Mac, the original game was entirely in German and was the first in a planned trilogy of games by Daedalic with the second, Chaos on Deponia, being published on 12 October 2012 in Germany. The English version of the first game was released on 7 August 2012 with entirely new voice acting across the board.
