The series, originally a trilogy of novels written by Koji Suzuki, but mostly known as the Japanese horror films directed by Hideo Nakata. The original film series is made up of Ringu, Rasen, Ring 2, and Ring 0. The films have also been adapted into the Korean film The Ring Virus, and the American films The Ring, the short film Rings, and The Ring Two.
