Produced by Chapman Entertainment, the producers of Fifi and the Flowertots, It follows the adventures of Roary and his race car friends at Silver Hatch race track. Roary is a red racing car shaped similarly to a grand prix car. He lives at the Silver Hatch racing circuit. The stop frame animation was initially provided by Cosgrove Hall Films, and latterly by Chapman Entertainment's own in-house studio the series uses a combination of computer-generated imagery (created by Studio Liddell) and stop-motion animation.
