The song was performed seventeenth on the night, following Portugal's Nucha with "Ha sempre alguem" and preceding Sweden's Edin-Adahl with "Som en vind". At the close of voting, it had received 132 points, tying for 2nd place in a field of 22. It was succeeded as Irish representative at the 1991 Contest by Kim Jackson with "Could It Be That I'm In Love".
