Acanthemblemaria maria, known commonly as the Secretary blenny in the Bahamas, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the United States, is a species of chaenopsid blenny in the genus Acanthemblemaria. It is found in coral reefs from the Bahamas to Tobago, in the western central Atlantic ocean. It was named by J.E. Bohlke in 1961, and can reach a maximum length of 5.1 centimetres.
